Max is around 16hh, 4 yr old ex racehorse. He ran mostly on the flat with 1 run over hurdles. He retired sound and happy as he was just too slow on the track.

He is a kind and easy going horse. He doesn't buck, rear, spin, bolt, jigjog, or do anything nasty.

He has started his retraining and will make a great all rounder.

He has done some basic schooling on the flat and has been on a couple of fun rides proving to be well mannered and easy to handle.

He is good to hack alone and in groups, he isn't strong or silly and is good in open spaces and on grass. Always snaffle mouthed.

He is unfortunately for sale early because I don't have the time to put into him to finish producing him.

He is very bold, and loves hunting, but is a settled character. He is a very quality ride and shows a huge amount of scope to cover country. He has been properly hunted for 2 seasons, including amateur whipping in.

He is sound and open to vet. He has no old injuries and retired from racing 5 years ago.

Happy - 16hh | 12-Year-Old Thoroughbred Mare

If you’re looking for a genuinely kind, uncomplicated Thoroughbred with a wonderful temperament, Happy is very difficult to fault.

A truly stunning mare with plenty of presence, she is a real head-turner wherever she goes. Having previously enjoyed a successful career as a broodmare, producing two foals, Happy has returned to work beautifully and has continued to progress in her retraining, proving herself to be an enjoyable and straightforward riding horse.

One of Happy’s standout qualities is her temperament. She is ridden by a variety of riders here, including teenagers, and takes everything in her stride. She is kind, willing, sensible, and genuinely enjoys her work, making her a pleasure to have around both on the ground and under saddle.

She hacks confidently alone and in company, regularly enjoys forest rides, and is excellent in open spaces. She remains relaxed and sensible when out and about and has proven to be the type of horse you can simply enjoy riding.

In the arena, Happy is working nicely and has also started pole work, which she has taken to with her usual willing attitude. She is establishing a solid foundation and continues to improve in strength, balance, and way of going with every ride.

Her ground manners are impeccable, and she is one of those horses who is easy to do in every way. She is affectionate, easy to handle, and a firm favourite with everyone who rides and cares for her.

Sunny - 15.2hh 3-Year-Old Chestnut Mare

Sunny is a beautiful, stocky young mare who has continued to progress exceptionally well since retiring from racing. She combines a kind, genuine temperament with a willing attitude, making her a lovely prospect for someone looking for an uncomplicated young horse to continue producing.

Having previously been ridden away in training and up the gallops, Sunny has now transitioned well into her retraining and is becoming a lovely young riding horse. She is working confidently in the arena with three balanced paces and is improving in strength, balance, and understanding with every ride.

She is hacking regularly both alone and in company and takes everything in her stride. She is good in traffic, sensible out in open spaces, and has proven to be a straightforward and enjoyable horse to ride away from home.

Sunny has also started pole work and has been doing plenty of long-reining and hill work to help build her strength and confidence. She approaches new experiences with a fantastic attitude and is always willing to learn.

Her temperament is one of her standout qualities. She is genuinely one of the sweetest fillies you could wish to meet; kind, affectionate, easy to handle, and a pleasure to have around the yard. She has no nastiness whatsoever and simply wants to please.

She remains an unspoilt young horse with a solid foundation now in place and is ready for someone to continue her education and enjoy the journey. With her attitude, looks, and trainability, she has all the ingredients to make a fantastic all-rounder, riding club horse, or grassroots competition prospect.

Gorgeous temperament on the ground and a personality that’s easy to fall in love with! Winnie is so easy to have around, not mareish, good to load/travel/shoe/clip etc and will stand all day to be fussed and pampered.

She ran 4 times on the flat as a 2/3 year old and retired completely sound, just too slow for the flat and too small to go jump racing. Since her last race in July 2024 she has had about a year and a half in the field to grow and mature, I rode her throughout her training and have owned her since she retired.

I have brought her back into work over the last few months, slowly introducing her to flatwork in the school and started jumping. She hacks confidently alone or in company, does gates, great in water and not bothered by traffic. In the school she goes sweetly in a nice shape in all three paces, transitions off of your voice, moves well and is a pleasure to ride, proving very trainable and responsive.

Jumping wise, she is brave and genuine popping coloured poles in the school and logs/sticks out hacking, however is still green and very much figuring out where her legs go! She’d be an epic blank canvas project with the perfect attitude for someone to get jumping properly this summer, sadly I just don’t have the time.

Although she is a sweetheart, she can be a buzzy, forward ride and will benefit from a quiet, confident rider - she is still very green and low mileage with only a couple months experience outside of the racing world!

She has also been known to have a rather large buck when she’s very fresh, never in a nasty way but definitely in a “that was fun!” kind of way - she hasn’t done this in a while but have to mention for my conscience! - which is another reason why she will not be sold to a novice.

I’m positive the right person will have no end of fun with her, she is such a happy little horse and always puts a smile on my face when I’m on her.

She is very special to me and I am very sad to let her go having known her since a yearling, therefore homes will be vetted thoroughly to try and find her perfect match.

Video in the comments from a couple weeks ago - she has since come on leaps and bounds so will try and get more videos this week.

Daphne 15.2hh 5yo Brown TB Mare

Daphne is ROR eligible and looking for a change of lifestyle. She would make someone a wonderful all-rounder/eventer/teenagers first horse.

Daphne does basic flatwork and has three balanced free moving paces. She has been schooled in a menage and open field happily. She carries herself correctly, forward going but safe and responsive. A small compact powerful type.

She happily pops a course of small showjumps without hesitation not fazed by any fillers and a water tray. She hasn’t done much jumping so can be green but is super genuine, will give anything a go, she never rushes and has a careful scopey jump.

She has also been cross-country schooling which she once again took all in her stride. Jumping all the basics along with some small arrowheads, steps, skinny’s, ditches, trakehners and water with no hesitation.

She is well mannered with a very sweet nature and loves fuss. A total pet to deal with. She has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, she isn’t fazed by anything. She has been to the beach regularly and swam in the sea. Never strong or silly. She’s seen plenty of the world.

She is a very easy going person. Happily goes on her own. Lives in & out alone or in company. Good to shoe, box & travel. She enjoys her work and is not marish in any way. No vices, no blemishes, no sarcoids, no previous injuries. She ran 11/06/26 so is fully fit but didn’t show enough to warrant continuing with.

Not suitable for a novice or children due to her age. She will continue to be educated and kept fit whilst advertised so price may increase.

No loans. No payment plans. No timewasters or day trippers. Serious enquiries only please.

Readvertised due to timewaster absolutely no fault of her own (includes some rugs & bridle if desired)

Henry is an exciting future prospect for dressage, eventing, show jumping. He ran on the flat so is RoR eligible. Retired from racing sound.

Henry is continuing his education in all disciplines. He has competed in dressage placing first and second in his classes and qualifying for Amersham dressage championships. He had great comments from the judge and has expressive, straight moving paces. He is picking up lateral work and changes nicely.

He has schooled over coloured poles and his first show jumping competition saw him gain a first and fifth placing qualifying for Trailblazers and Sunshine Tour. He is learning all the time with his jumping and is showing great scope, having a try at everything and not stopping. He really enjoys this and takes his rider into a fence.

He has cross country schooled jumping all the fences you would find on a cross country course including ditches and goes through water, and loves it.

Henry hacks out alone and in company and is absolutely rock solid in traffic. He is not fazed by artics, tractors, large trailers etc. He is good to load, catch, shoe, clip, bath. He will stand on the lorry at shows with no fuss and wait his turn. He turns out with others in a mixed herd with no issues.

Henry's outstanding temperament will stand him in good stead for the future. He loves nothing more than a fuss and a cuddle and is quiet to handle in all respects.

He has no vices, is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming.

Henry is easy to ride but no novices please.

Lots of videos available.

The most fun little horse , perfect teenagers fun or would suit an elder lady in riding club wanting to compete grass routes.

If your wanting a 90-100 horse that’s ready to go and have some fun on this mare this is a cheap horse for someone, sad sale due to owner’s circumstances Tara is actively looking for her next person.

16hh , 9yr old bay mare , Tara is ROR elidgable after running only 3 times as a 5yr old.
Tara has British evented to 90, and unaffiliated SJ, DR , fun rides, hunting, pony club camps , she took a 10yr old girl to pony club camp due to her pony not being fit to go. She was perfectly behaved for her.

Tara is good in all ways, she’s not a plod , current owners brought her with the view to continue her eventing but with a busy job and a growing family forces sale, she was used to ride and lead with a nervous young child and pony when not in full work she could put in a very rare excitable buck.

Tara is good to catch, clip, shoe, trim, load , travel, stands at the moutin block, good with mares and geldings, good in traffic. Hacks alone or in company.

When Tara was purchased with current owners 3 years ago she passed a 5 stage vetting, this is avaible to be sold with her.

Tara isn’t phased by fillers, ditches or water

Tara is looking for a loving home and homes will be vetted .

Price in comments.

3 nice paces and working sweetly on the flat; genuine and straightforward to a fence showing a promising technique.

Good to hack out alone or company and proven sensible in open spaces and traffic. Raced on the flat before retiring as a 3yr old after 6 starts therefore eligible for ROR series.

She does have a scar on her shoulder and a blemish on her near hind therefore not suitable for the show ring. Will weave whether that’s in the stable or tied up. Good to handle, catch, shoe.

She’s ready to be produced further and would make a nice allrounder/RC horse.

Annie, is a 15h 2022 thoroughbred with great potential for most disciplines. she really loves her job and would thrive with consistent work, very much a blank canvas for someone to put there stamp on and to have fun doing it.

She is still a young green mare so would require a competent and confident rider to help further her education.

Annie is being sold from the field as sadly i do not have the time to ride her on myself, pleas feel free to get in touch with if you would like to know more about this verry sweet little mare.

Please note Annie will not be sold to anyone under 16 as she is still very young.

Tango 5-year-old thoroughbred mare

We have had tango since she was a 3-year-old after proving she was not cut out for racing. After only 2 races.

Since we have had Tango, our daughter rode her just having fun taking her on lots of hacks, school/pole work etc, and she showed willing and is eager to please. She loves fuss and is easy to handle. And was proving she would make a great ROR for somebody.

We decided to turn her out for 12 months to give her time to mature and have a break. In the meantime, we bought an experienced showjumper, and my daughter is now too busy with qualifiers to bring tango on to her full potential. We our looking for a loving home who has the time to carry where we left off.

Super smart striking dark bay TB 8yr old mare. She has an extremely kind temperament and willing nature, with plenty of potential for someone wanting to continue producing a talented allrounder.

She has three balanced, attractive paces and shows good scope and ability over a fence, making her an exciting prospect to progress up the levels. Since retiring from her racing career, she has been carefully retrained, taking part in dressage, show jumping, and cross country, where she particularly enjoys her jumping, proving to be very confident. She is incredibly brave and willing to a fence and always tries her best.

She is also fantastic to hack, both alone and in company, and takes everything in her stride. Easy enough for a teenage girl to go out hacking for miles on her own.

On the yard, she is an absolute pleasure to have around with a kind, affectionate nature and no nastiness whatsoever. She is easy to catch, load, shoe, clip, and handle in all ways, and is loved by everyone who meets her. Unlike most thoroughbreds she has good feet.

On the flat, she is currently working at a basic level and continues to improve consistently with regular schooling. She is still progressing in her education, and can occasionally have a green moment, therefore she would not suit a complete novice rider. However, she is genuine, willing, and straightforward, making her an exciting horse for someone wanting a quality mare to continue producing.

She has had no health issues with us, and has been a genuine pleasure to have and produce. Only for sale due to exam and university commitments. She will only go to the right home who will continue to do her justice.

3 seriously flashy paces, working To medium level at home with a very trainable attitude. Plenty of ability to go on up the levels.

He’s got a super careful jump and is a genuine horse across country. He loves his work but has shown he’s not quite brave enough at novice level.

He’s good enough in the flat to be competitive at Badminton grassroots or U18s, he’d also be a fab pony club horse and would qualify for championships across all disciplines.

A very sad sale of a much loved horse, sadly finances mean I can’t keep him just to enjoy myself.
No novices or nervouses please, this horse loves his work and wants someone to match his enthusiasm.
