Gatsby is a very true to type Fell pony, 141cm LHC, he has all the qualities you would want with movement to match. He has been shown at the highest level gaining 4th at HOYS in 2025.

Although he is everything you would want in a Fell pony to show under saddle he does not enjoy this job. We are looking for him to find his forever home who will give him the varied life that he loves. He needs a competent teenager or small adult, he is very safe to ride but like most fell ponies does have his opinion on life so wouldn’t suit a novice home.

Gatsby lights up in the school when you put a jump up, he seems to love jumping but as a flat showing team this isn’t something we have perused.

In the stable you couldn’t ask for a nicer pony, he will stand for hours being groomed, he stands for the farrier, physio and dentist with no bother.

He loads/travels/stands on the box happily eating for as long as needed.

We are looking ideally for a home that will give him a varied life, full time showing at the top level is simply not his thing. As a pony that will do almost anything with a smile on his face he is worth his weight in gold.

JJ is a super smart fun pony that loves his job. He is keen and forward but safe. He does not buck, rear or bolt.

He has lots of scope jumping and we feel he would be perfect to either BS or arena event with a competitive child, or even be a super fun pony for a small adult - he loves a blast round the XC or farm ride at Somerford/Kelsall etc!! He's taken Leah from jumping round 40 to 80 tracks workers and SJ, and has the scope to go further. BS he has £45 and 23 points on his card (from only 3 shows, Leah is now out of class).

We have done all sorts with him in the 3.5 years we’ve owned him – he’s been to PC camp twice at Somerford, been on the teams for PC SJ and mounted games, he’s been to Equifest twice, he’s been to Stars 3 times inhand and workers, he qualified for the arena event finals at Eland Lodge (70) and the ACE 70 Finals at Aintree. We have done lots of workers with him but he struggles to settle after the jump section for the show. Workers is where Leah’s heart lies, hence the sale.

JJ loves to hack! He is not bothered by tractors, bin lorries, motorbikes etc and will happily go on his own. He loves the beach too – you can have a blast one minute and then just tootle along on the buckle end the next.

He’s been hunting a couple of times with the Holcome and they had a great time! He does get strong but was manageable for his 14 year old petite jockey and jumped everything put in front of him. He was good with the hounds and happy to stand and wait at the meet.

He’s fab on the ground - he’ll be preened and polished all day long. Leah (14) has done everything with him – bathing, tacking up, turning out, catching, loading, clipping etc. He’ll stand in the menage for vaulting/tricks or happily tootle round bareback etc. He travels in trailers or lorries and will stand quietly when there, he’s no fuss to tack up or handle when out.

He is up to date with feet (he’s barefoot), vaccinations, worms, teeth and physio. He’ll live in or out.

JJ is fit and ready to go. We absolutely love the bones of him and want to make sure he goes to the right 10* home. He is a safe, fun, sensitive pony and needs a confident, quiet rider.

We are in Warrington, Cheshire.

Ashbeck Freddie - Sire Greenholme Nemo

Sadly for sale due to giving up horses & the realisation that life is just too busy.

Owned since 5 months old, left to run until this summer, brought in and very very lightly backed, sat on, long reined and done by show professional. Used to busy professional yard. Lightly shown in hand, needs exposure to more shows.

Travels well, loads easy, just had dentist, first two vaccinations done.

Will make a lovely 13hh. He is a colt and a young one at that, so be mindful of this!

Based Central Scotland - text or WhatsApp in first instance.
