Meet Fly, a handsome gelding who is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Fly would suit a home where he can live out 24/7 with other horses of a similar type and size.

Due to his type Fly can take extra grass and doesn’t require any restrictions making him the perfect addition to any herd. He does get attached to his horsey friends so requires equine company at all times.

Fly is generally good to handle. He does requires a calm and experienced handler who is used to handling horses similar to him.

Cookie is a kind-natured gelding who came into Blue Cross care in April 2026 after a change in his owner’s circumstances. He’s settled in beautifully and has shown himself to be a genuinely lovely horse to handle.

Cookie is easy to catch, enjoys being groomed, and is happy to have all four feet picked out. He leads well once he’s familiar with his surroundings, and he’s been polite and cooperative for both the vet and farrier. Living out 24/7 with two other geldings, he’s a social boy who loves company and takes comfort from a steady herd routine. As a typical cob, Cookie will need some grazing restriction to help him maintain a healthy weight, but with the right management he’s a straightforward, gentle companion who thrives on calm, consistent handling.
