Nancy is just a Joy. 9 year old, full Irish Draft mare by Mountpelier Sea View out of a Merry Mate mare with breeding back to Sea Crest and Kildalton Gold.

The perfect little horse Nancy has done it all. Showjumped to 1.05 with a good record in very limited outings.
Inter-hunt teams for 4 years, never having a fence down.
Won local working hunter.
Hunted extensively, will jump anything. Ridden by a Man and Lady. Plus many friends.
Amazing manners. Will go at the front or back. She loves to jump, or negotiate a tricky place.

Nancy workes well in the school, and has a lovely pop in her.

Hacks out alone and in company. Is excellent in traffic.

Loads straight up in trailer or lorry, again travels alone or in company.

Very easy to look after, shoe, clip and so on.

No lumps or bumps.

This little mare is much loved by us, and admired by others. A very difficult decision to put her up for sale, but she just isn't being used by us at the moment. So very sad sale and only to a good home.

Lovely traditional Irish Draught, 4 Years old.

Hunted with the Killinick Harriers in Jan/ Feb, then competed in the Kildare Hunter Performance Class in March, going on to do some showjumping, cross country and performance draught classes from April to June.

Great temperament, very easy to handle; tack up, mount, shoe, and clip.

Ridden by both professional male rider and amateur female rider, he would suit a wide range of riders.

• MUST be Safe and Sensible! Nothing sharp, spooky or nappy, must not bolt, buck or rear!
• 15.2 hh+ may consider a little smaller if well built!

Looking for a mother's hunter type horse of the genuine, safe, mannerly, experienced kind! Open to buy or Loan. MUST have previously hunted not just seen hounds please!

Doesn't need to be a George Clooney in appearance! Happy to consider an older horse looking to step down from the bigger hunting days who would settle into smaller jump country.

No need for world beaters or puissance horses as we hunt the more trot & pop, trappy country not large grass fields with hedges but it must still be happy to go off alone and jump. MUST be good with hounds around it's legs and go off alone leaving the field happily when trail hunting!

Apart from being 15.2 hh and above (may consider a little smaller if well built) with a good shoulder in front, there is no other specific requirements - just a safe and experienced horse that won't erupt into outer space if left unridden for a week.

Zeus

The ultimate allrounder who can truly turn his hoof to anything. Zeus is a classy, genuine horse with a wealth of experience and a lovely temperament to match. He offers three exceptionally comfortable paces, a beautifully balanced way of going, and the most wonderful rocking horse canter that makes him a pleasure to ride. Adores his flat work and rides like a show horse, he’s the type you could sit on for hours. The definition of an armchair ride.

He has done it all, dressage, showjumping, Xc, hunting, forest rides, sponsored rides, fun rides, and plenty of hacking. He absolutely loves water and throughly enjoying a swim in the river.

To a fence, Zeus is a true point and steer type, incredibly genuine, committed, and happy to go from any stride. He gives his rider enormous confidence, always wanting to help rather than question.

In the hunting field, Zeus is an absolute machine. He adores working with the hounds, stands beautifully at the meet, and is the ultimate ditch jumper. He is equally happy to thrust into action on a big county day or to sit back and enjoy a quieter, smaller day. He’ll happily sit anywhere in the field and behaves impeccably throughout.

Although Zeus is straightforward, kind, and easy to ride, he would be wasted in a novice home simply because he has so much to offer. He is a responsive ride and therefore wouldn’t suit an unbalanced novice who kicks rather than squeezes.

He hacks happily alone or in company and is a real gentleman in every way. Outside of the arena, he has always been ridden in a rubber pelham, which he enjoys and goes beautifully in, staying light and responsive in the hand across all disciplines. He will, of course, go in a snaffle, but is simply a nicer ride in his preferred setup.

On the ground, Zeus is every bit as kind as he is ridden, he loves people, children, and other animals, and is a true gentleman to handle. (We call him the cuddle monster!) A genuine, honest horse who takes care of his rider and will offer someone a lifetime of fun, confidence, and enjoyment.

Zeus has had sarcoids removed in the past. They have not affected his performance, comfort, or ability to enjoy a varied and active life. This is an honest disclosure for knowledgeable buyers, but certainly does not take away from what an exceptional all-round horse he is. A minor consideration in what is otherwise a golden opportunity to have a horse like Zeus in your life.
