Sire Darco is legendary and needs little introduction in Belgium; moreover, it has been proven that Darco as a sire—and dam—is of immense value.

He was a supplier to the Royal Household at Zangersheide during the 2018 World Championships for Young Horses. Numero Uno continues to make a name for himself. Article from *De Paardenkrant* dated January 23, 2019, on page 13: “Numero Uno’s offspring in the lead.” The Preferente-class Numero Uno (s. Libero H) produced the winner in both the six- and seven-year-old classes. Neverland Z (dam: Carthago), ridden by Jeroen Appelen, claimed victory in the six-year-old class after the jump-off. Jan Vermeiren and Mr. Uno-K van ’t Kattenheye (dam: Kannan) repeated that feat in the seven-year-old class.
In this article, you’ll notice that Neverland Z has the same pedigree (Numero Uno x Carthago) as Bjork VDC. In the Netherlands as well, Jager claimed the title in the 5-year-old Blom Cup; he also has the same pedigree: Numero Uno x Carthago. The January 2019 issue of Strengen Magazine KWPN also mentions this on page 67 under the title: “Leader Numero Uno.” Here it is described that Numero Uno is the stallion with the best hereditary traits, based on the ranking of most common sires, with Numero Uno convincingly at the top; 74 of his offspring from 2008, 2009, and 2010 compete at 1.40 or higher.
Furthermore, in Fifi vdC’s pedigree, she is descended from the two elite Holstein sires, namely Carthago and Calypso II, and carries the necessary thoroughbred blood through the renowned thoroughbred Nevado xx.
Renaissance VIII, the dam, is the full sister of the international show jumper and most approved stallion son of Carthago Z, C-Trenton Z, who jumped 1.60m with Torben Köhlbrandt. C-Trenton Z is the only horse to have jumped four consecutive clear rounds in the Hamburg Derby and finished second twice with Zilver. At the KWPN stallion show in Den Bosch in 2008, her brother Acanisto M, out of Renaissance, was selected for the performance test and currently jumps at the 140-level. Renaissance’s sister, Thiara M, is the dam of the 1.60 m jumper Oak Grove’s Battle Cry, Cristel Optimus 160—who has already produced several top-class offspring—and Diacento, who jumps at the 155 level. Also sired by Renaissance is the brother Casilas SR (by Berlin), who is already competing at the International Grand Prix level.

Monessa, the grandmother of Renaissance, also produced the 1.45m show jumper Regent. The 1.60m show jumper Callida also traces back to Monessa, as do Chriras (140spr), Carewa (150spr), and Hot Chocolate (140spr).
The 18A2 line is considered one of the most established lines in Holstein. This outstanding line has produced a long list of horses that compete at the highest level in show jumping, as well as more than 100 approved stallions. Mike is a much loved member of our family and has been with us for nearly three years. In that time, my daughter has done a bit of everything with him, including Pony Club activities, NSEA, show jumping up to 1m, unaffiliated eventing at 80cm & 90cm, and lots of fun days out including fun rides, he often comes home with ribbons.

He absolutely loves to jump and is always keen and genuine to a fence. Mike is currently training at 1m–1.10m and shows plenty of scope to progress further. He would be ideally suited to a competitive little jockey looking to have lots of fun and success.

He is snaffle mouthed, never strong or silly, and is a very enjoyable, confidence giving ride. He hacks alone and in company and is sensible in open spaces.

We have worked on his dressage and, although that isn’t my daughter’s favourite activity, he is capable of working in a nice outline and has three lovely paces.

Mike is fit, healthy and ready to go and have fun with another rider. He is up to date with vaccinations, worming and teeth.

At home he is easy to manage, lives out happily with us, and is straightforward to handle in all ways. Good to shoe, clip, load, etc.

This is a very sad sale as my daughter has decided to stop riding, and Mike is far too good a pony to be left in the field, he really thrives on being ridden and having a job.

A 5-star home is essential for this pony who has never put a foot wrong for us.

We are looking for a pony who will be pampered daily and be loved and cherished. Pony must have experience in all pony club aspects (games not our thing) and be willing and honest.

Jumping up to 90 max in the future but stepping down to 60cm for now. Nothing whizzy or strong, ideally steady and willing. Jockey is a polite rider with good hands and seat. We are not looking for potentials so nothing green or young. We would welcome older ponies and have lots of experience to cater for their needs, equally anything over 8years would be ideal.

Must be good to hack alone round the fields and lanes and in company without being silly. Ideally good to clip, shoe, box (trailer) and have manners to burn in and around the stable. We have a fantastic home to offer on a farm with 2 other horses with a very pony mad daughter.

Miley is a true schoolmaster and an exceptional all-round competition pony. A fit, talented pony with plenty of experience and scope, he has a fantastic attitude and is a really fun pony for someone to go out and enjoy.

He has clean limbs, excellent conformation, moves straight and is true to type. Miley is scopey and completely unfazed by fillers, water trays and all the questions you put in front of him. He absolutely loves his job and excels in working hunter, as well as cross country, showjumping and eventing in previous homes.

With me Miley has mainly focused on working hunter and flat showing where he has consistently brought home fantastic results, previous owners competed him in showjumping and eventing, and he holds both a BS (96) and BE record, although I have not pursued these disciplines with him myself.

Miley schools beautifully on the flat and is a pleasure to ride. He is an easy ride around novice workers and has plenty of ability/rides well enough up to open classes with scope to spare and this is where he is most comfortable. But for the bigger qualifiers he does require an accurate rider to get the best from him.

He hacks alone and in company. He can become a little more switched on in groups, but is never strong and absolutely never bolts.

On the ground he is an absolute saint to deal with — easy in every way. Loads and travels perfectly, you wouldn’t even know he was there.

Miley is a fit and forward competition pony and is absolutely not suitable for a novice rider. He would be perfect for a competent jockey wanting a quality all-rounder and competitive pony to continue enjoying and progressing with.
