HEAVILY REDUCED THIS WEEK ONLY - Due to going away next week I have decided to reduce Barney to see him in a lovely home before then.

Been there, done it and got the T-Shirt. Barney has done low level Dressage, competed in showjumping up to 70cm, cross country, beach rides, pony club games, mounted games, hunted at the front of the field and back.

Barney will put his all into everything with the right rider. Barney is better suited to a more competent, child / small teen / petite adult.

Barney is impeccably well behaved to hack alone or in company: fantastic on the roads and with heavy traffic, cars, bikes, bicycles, Lorries, farm machinery etc. Not the spooky type either. Can be a little more forward going in open areas, and a little stronger but nothing dangerous and certainly something that can be managed by the correct rider. He does not bolt he just takes a minute to come back down paces, He does not pull any silly moves! Although he can bit speedier in open fields he still can walk around on the buckle.

In the school he has 3 balanced paces. He is not a world beater when it comes to jumping, he does what he needs to, he has seen a variety of different jumps over his time and plenty of fillers. He knows his job, and will thrive in every aspect with the correct rider.

On the ground Barney can be nippy (not at all nasty just a habit) he can occasionally also be strong to handle, but in capable hands this is very easy to maintain and nothing dangerous. However these 2 vices I have been working on and with consistent boundaries I don't see him keeping this attitude up, he already with me does not display these behaviours any longer, but I do believe he possibly could try it in his new home until boundaries are set.

Barney is great for the farrier (always been barefoot and has great feet) great with the vet and easy to load and travels like a saint. Good to clip. Easy to tack up and loves a groom. He is the type you can leave for weeks on end and pick back up where you left off.

Microchipped and passported.

Barney is with me for the soul purpose of sale, he was in his previous home for 11 years where he was loved dearly, their reason for sale was no fault of his own, the lady had 2 other horses and not enough time to keep Barney in work, and Barney just is not ready for retirement yet - he’s got plenty more to give! Anyone interested will be given this lady’s number so you can talk with her in regards to more information/queries on Barney.

A bonus is that Barney comes with his full wardrobe: saddle and bridle. Snaffle mouthed always.

Looking for a fantastic 5 star home for this boy who will happily give his old owners updates every now and then.

Unfortunately I do not have a school on site, but right next door we have level tracks through the woodland and plenty of logs that can be jumped. Also more than welcome to take him on a hack down the roads.

Plenty of videos and photos on request.

Our Beautiful little Maggie is sadly looking for her next small person to Love her just as much as we do.

12.2h 16 year old, Chinook Magdalene, Maggie.

Maggie’s been my daughter’s best friend the last 4 years, we purchased her as a LR pony for my then 6 year old daughter. She’s suited to a lr job and has helped many a little rider to get going. My daughter is now happily galloping down the beach with her without a care in the world. Off the lead rein she does need riding more so a more confident jockey,

She loves to be out hacking on and off the lead rein. She’s happy at the back and will go upfront and will lead from another horse. We’re often on very busy roads, not phased by tractors, lorries etc.

She has previously been shown, (its just not our thing)
2nd Royal International as a 5 year old
Qualified for hoys and RI as FR 7 year old
Did LR bsps for few years and has been on loan to a riding school before we purchased her as a 12year old.

Good for fun rides and beach rides, good in open spaces. Never bolted reared bucked.
The children do everything to look after her, even my non horsey boys. I’ve tried so hard to make them be interested but unfortunately they’d rather play rugby, so sadly Mags is now out grown by my daughter and looking for a new home.

Good with farrier Dentist , good to catch, bath, groom. Currently out with mares but has been in a mixed herd. Respects fencing. She does crib occasionally, but never out in the field. She does pull faces when being tacked up. She is a mare so does need time to trust you, but once she does she’s the sweetest.

Soooo many pics and videos of my little girl having the most amazing childhood with her best friend!!! Please what’s app on 07734382779

This is extremely upsetting for all of us. So no time wasters please, low Mid 4’s open to offers for the right home

Prince is extremely well schooled on the flat in all three paces- he does excel in the dressage arena.

After competing in France showjumping and dressage to a high level, as a sports pony : then showing again to a high level, he has been a pony club pony and WHP in his previous home and now with us an all- rounder, pc pony .

Prince is responsive not a kick along; he has been ridden correctly , with impeccable manners. Having been schooled to the highest standard.

He is suited as a second pony with a child that has an independent seat and kind hands.

Ideally suited to a child to compete, pony club, eventing, showing or dressage. He can turn his hoof to anything. He’s been hunting with us and loves his hacking.
He could be ridden by petite adult. My husband hacked him he’s a complete novice and 5’4.
He is comfortable jumping up to 80 cm with my son. With scope for higher. With my daughter SJ 50/60cm with ease. Cross country he could jump 80cm with ease .

Well mannered in and out of the stable. Perfect to clip , vet, farrier etc.

Can be turned out on his own or with others. Used to heavy farm machinery and livestock.
Prince likes to be pampered and his stable comforts.

This is Pippi, a 14.2 pony mare who’s been with us for four and a half years.

She’s a brilliant all-rounder—she loves schooling, hacking, cross-country, and beach rides.

She’s a bit cheeky but really easy to handle—my six-year-old sister rides her occasionally, and she’s brilliant with kids.

Pippi is great for the farrier, vet, and dentist, and she’s happy in a herd or on her own. She’s also good with dogs and doesn’t mind loud noises.

No medical issues—just a lovely pony all around!

Silver - 14hh, part bred Connie gelding (no breeding recorded).

Beautiful quality pony with nice paces. Backed and ridden away over the winter and then had a little winter break to mature. Back in work from spring and riding well.
Silver hacks alone and in company and is good in open spaces. Happily works away in the field without a fuss. Boxes up for a hack and loves to go out and about exploring.
Schooling in all 3 paces and just learning to work into a contact, he picks things up quickly and tries really hard to understand what’s being asked of him. Popping a few fences and showing to have a neat little jump, XC schooled and loved it! Stringing some together and really enjoying it.
He’s still at a stage where he needs a nice rider with a bit of feel. I’d love to see him in an experienced home learning his next job.
He could go on to do a variety of things.
He’d make a lovely little plaited working hunter pony/dressage/eventing etc.

Takes the leg well, rider in pics 5’4.
Good to catch/load/farrier/clip/bath. Turns out on his own or with others. We’ve borrowed him as a companion to various ones this summer and he turns out with anyone! Sweet little chap with a lovely character.
Passed 5 stage vetting before import.

We've had Bon Bon 2 years and she is unrecognisable from when she first arrived.
She has truly been my daughters best friend and after a lot of patience and perseverance, this pony is a super smart, super sweet pony for a teenager who is wanting to have some fun.

She schools beautifully and gets attention whenever she goes.
She had a foal in Germany and so started her education later in life but she doesn't have a bad bone in her body and needs a confident rider to gently hold her hoof at times. She's not a novice ride and is naturally forwards so suits a quieter, more experienced and confident rider.

She hacks really well on the road and in large open spaces and is happy to go both front or back in a group or indeed on her own. She's been to the beach but we haven't done much xc with her.... we think she would like a more varied life and out hacking she is super reliable and safe. She's not a plodder and is naturally forwards and buzzy.
On the ground, she's very well mannered, sweet and patient, my 5 year old son leads her down to our bottom fields.

In the last 2 years, she's qualified all her novice and discovery second rounds and this year she also qualified all of her newcomers first rounds. She's recently 148 BS measured too . We have been competing her at 1.10m this year with lots more scope in the tank.

That said, we think a varied lifestyle is important for her moving forwards. She's not a novice ride so no nervous or inexperienced riders pls.

She will stay out or in, even on her own - which is super helpful when going out with others, she really is the easiest and sweetest pony we've ever owned.

Good to catch, load, travel, clip and shoe.

Best of homes sought for this super kind, sweet mare who enjoys her work and human interaction and is truly a pleasure to have on the yard. This is a very difficult sale, so pls no time wasters.

Currently located in Leafield, nr Burford. Open to viewing/vetting.

Tonic is a super striking, talented 14.2hh, 6 year old Connemara gelding who oozes quality. He has three smart, balanced paces and a fantastic presence.

Backed as a 5-year-old last year by myself, Tonic has been produced carefully with his future in mind and has proven to have a fantastic attitude towards his work. He is incredibly trainable and continues to improve with every outing.

He is a real eye-catcher on the flat, with plenty more to come. He has showjumped up to 90cm, showing great scope, bravery and a careful jump. He has also recently started his eventing career, completing 2/2 double clears in the GOBE80s, finishing inside the top 10 on both occasions.

I would love to see Tonic excel with a competent, competitive teenager who can continue to produce him, as he has the ability and scope to progress through the levels in eventing, British Dressage or as a WHP.

Tonic absolutely loves his cross country and has a fantastic attitude, he has never said no! He has been hunting once, jumping plenty of hedges, and has also been to the beach!

He is a pleasure to handle and is perfect for the farrier, clipping, loading and travelling. He will stand happily by the lorry all day and is a real gentleman on the ground. No vices, N/N HWSD.

I genuinely believe that in the right hands Tonic is a very special pony. He is not a novice ride and would suit a sympathetic, competent rider who understands that he is a talented pony with a sensitive side. He is never naughty, he doesn’t buck or rear, but he is a competition pony and needs an experienced home.
He hacks alone and in company however he is nervy with big traffic (lorries and tractors) so would suit a home with off-road hacking or quiet roads.

A fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a quality pony with a very exciting future ahead.

Castle View Lily is a beautiful 8-year-old, 14.1hh, dapple grey Connemara x Irish Sports mare. Fabulous Pony club/NSEA competition pony.

Lily is very athletic and has a great pop in her. She is happily jumping round 80/90 and has competed and won in UA showjumping as well as going clear and placing in AE.

Lily would make a great BS pony, as she is agile and careful but could equally make a fabulous event pony, we just have not had the time to get her out to an event. Lily has also hunted with her previous owner and loved it, so would make a great little hunting pony.

Lily is going very nicely on the flat, she has three correct paces and naturally holds herself well, she is very soft in the mouth .She has qualified for Trailblazers dressage on two occasions and placed in every test she has entered, the judges always take a liking to her.

Lily is not a schoolmistress (yet) and can be sharp at times, so she needs a confident rider and knowledgeable home to continue her education. She is the kindest character on the ground and would make a perfect family pony, she loves a fuss and a pamper!
Super easy to have on the yard, good to handle, shoe, box and catch. Hacks alone or in company, great in open spaces and is happy to be in front or behind.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers
I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

‘Clyard Classic’ aka cookie, is a stunning dun Connemara pony who I’ve owned since an unbroken 3 year old.
Cookies temperament is second to none… he has been a pleasure to produce and this is a very sad sale of what’s become a very loved pony by not just myself.

Cookie moves beautifully on the flat with 3 balanced paces, simple changes being soft and correct in the contact. I believe he could go on to be a top WHP/grassroots contender/hunting pony but likewise would turn his hoof to pretty much any discipline, pony club etc… His jump is forever improving in technique and he shows to be bold and brave to a fence. Cookie has been out show-jump and x-country schooling proving unfazed by new venues, fillers, ditches, trays etc… he truly Loves his job and just wants to please! Has been ridden by my younger sister coming off her first pony and was a complete angel.

Cookie is good to hack alone and in company. He is never strong and always snaffle mouthed. Doesn’t get lit up in open spaces and has seen lots of farm machinery and traffic. He is good to load and will stand on the box all day (travels in our 3.5t lorry) is good for the farrier and amazing to be clipped! Cookie loves a fuss and will stand all day to be pampered with, happy to be left alone in stable/field/lorry and equally happy in a busy environment with company and others coming and going.

Up to date with worming, vaccines, dentist.

Cookie is the definition of ‘ old head on young shoulders’ he’s very straightforward and not a lot bothers him… however he is 4 years old so therefore not a complete novice ride as his education still needs to be continued to get the best out of him. Home is paramount and will be vetted, this is a very sad sale of a pony I’ve grew very in love with for his attitude towards everything.

Mojo is well established, with 3 lovely paces and very good lateral movements. Recently qualified for regionals in Novice Silver and Area festival at Elementary level, with plenty of potential to continue progressing through the levels (learning changes at home).

Mojo is safe, sensible, naturally forward and eager to please.

Good to shoe, load, for the vets and travelling/stay away shows, easy to handle, hacks alone and in company. Excellent in traffic, farm machinery etc.

I bought her straight from the breeders 9 years ago so full history is known, she has been ridden by friends with little to lots of experience and behaves impeccably for both.

Would suit a competition family/rider on the BD circuit where she will continue to develop and excel. Only reason for sale is that I am too tall for her.

Where to start about gorgeous Biscuit...

She is a 5yo homebred out of my 14h1 Pony Trial Pony who went BE Novice at 6 years old (who then went on to get lots of placings and wins at BE Novice and CCIP2* competitions); and she is by 'Global Jenson WFS' who is a beautiful 16h1, 1m40 Showjumper.

Biscuit has been started professionally by myself, and from birth has always been the biggest 'yes' girl - who has been the easiest horse to train I have ever had.

She is super to ride on the flat, with such an easy mouth and contact. She is responsive without being sharp, and has started her lateral work, counter canter and gear changes within the paces.

She is immensely brave to jump (i think you could put fire underneath the jump and she wouldn't mind), and is still in a rubber snaffle as she is keen but never strong. As a 5yo she is currently jumping courses of 95cm in training, whilst schooling over individual fences of 1m/1m05.

She has been XC schooling, and again absolutely nothing phases her.

She is just about to start her competition journey, where I fully believe she is going to love all of the fuss and attention that comes with it.

Biscuit would suit an ambitious person who is going to continue her education to excel in any discipline. I see her either with a competitive amateur to win the Badminton Grassroots, or equally a competitive teenager who wants to enjoy doing the Youth competitions.

Biscuit is my first homebred, and has always been my favourite child - so please only serious enquiries as this is a very emotional sale, and I will be very much vetting the homes.

CADNO - PLENTY OF SCOPE AND FUTURE POTENTIAL

Ref #: 409245
  • A stunning Welsh Section D with plenty of scope and potential to continue jumping up the levels
  • Trainable attitude
  • Great conformation

  • A stunning Welsh Section D with plenty of scope and potential to continue jumping up the levels
  • Trainable attitude
  • Great conformation

A stunning and talented Welsh Section D who always turns heads, with three active, expressive paces and a willing attitude towards his work.

Cadno is forward-going and responsive off the leg, with eye-catching movement. He hacks alone or in company, is happy to lead or go behind, and has been led off another horse. Good around sheep and cows, although he can occasionally be unsure around large lorries and vehicles, therefore is not bombproof.

Cadno thoroughly enjoys his jumping and shows plenty of scope. He is currently confidently jumping courses of 80cm, with the ability to progress further. He has happily jumped fillers and water trays without hesitation and could make a competitive jumping or BS prospect in the right hands. Due to a lack of time, he has recently been out to his first show jumping competition in which he placed:
1st in 80cm Class - qualified for sunshine tour and Cricklands
6th in 70cm Class

Cadno has attended a variety of showing shows, both ridden and in-hand, consistently placing within the top 5. He has received wonderful comments from judges and is always noticed. With his conformation and way of going, I believe he has the potential to become a future HOYS contender. Highlights include:
West Surrey Riding Club Champion 2025 & In-Hand Mountain & Moorland
1st at Elsted Riding Club Showing Show 2025 - Both Ridden and In-Hand Mountain & Moorland (qualifying for the sunshine tour)
3rd at SDSS Showing Show 2025 - Ridden Mountain & Moorland
2nd at SDSS Showing Show 2025 - In-Hand Mountain & Moorland
5th at Pyecombe Showing Show 2026 - Ridden Large Mountain & Moorland

Cadno has also attended numerous fun rides, where he was impeccably behaved, even with horses cantering past. He has been to the beach, arena XC and pony camp. He proved himself smart, bold and willing at XC, happily tackling ditches, logs and steps in and out of water. He has also attended several pole clinics.

He has enjoyed getting out and about and is now ready for a knowledgeable rider to continue his education and unlock his full potential. While he has the ability to become a fantastic all-rounder or show horse, his love and natural ability for jumping suggests a competitive jumping home would suit him particularly well.

Good to load, shoe and clip. Teeth and vaccinations are up to date. He is a dream to catch and good to handle. He has been turned out individually and with others and is equally happy being left in the field alone without company.

Cadno is a typical Welsh with plenty of personality and can occasionally be impatient. He can become anxious and sometimes relies on his rider for reassurance, although his confidence is continuing to grow. He thrives on routine but enjoys variety in his work. An AYTO home would be ideal, as he is at his happiest when living out.

Cadno has never reared, bucked or bolted.

Due to my work and university commitments, I unfortunately cannot give him the time he deserves. This is a heartbreaking sale of a much-loved horse, so a 5* home is essential. Due to the above, Cadno would thrive best in a knowledgeable home that has the time to continue building his confidence and that would be able to bring out the very best in him.

Cadno is a hugely lovable character with enormous potential and has a very exciting future ahead of him in the right hands.

Due to time wasters, Cadno is still for sale. Extra photos and videos are available upon request. Based in West Sussex.

Dusty is a 14’2hh, 8 years old, Irish pony.
He was purchased just over a year ago (passed a 5 stage vetting) to be a young girl’s quiet, calm, confidence giving, forever pony.
Unfortunately, he is just too sensitive for a nervous, novice-ish rider, which has led to some issues (happy to discuss). As such he hasn’t done much this last year.
With a confident, balanced, competent rider he is a fun competitive allrounder. With such a rider on board, he has successfully competed in prelim dressage, winning his test. He has also successfully competed in 80 and 90 cm showjumping, going clear. He is non spooky and easy to ride to a fence, Jumping all fillers, water trays, triple bars etc.
He has done some arena evening at 70 and 80cm and placed 2nd and 3rd respectively, giving a fun ride. He’s been taken xc and jumped all jumps, ditches, steps and water with no issues or worries.
He has schooled at home over 1m and has a lovely jump- with the right rider id imagine he would be competitive up to this height. For a confident, competent rider Dusty would make a wonderful allrounder/ competative ODE pony. He’d also make a lovely working hunter show pony.
He is snaffle mouthed at all times.
Has never been sick or sorry.
Hacks out alone or in company- first or last- doesn’t get excited.
Has never reared or bucked.
Is easy to do- doesn’t mind being left in the field or stable alone. Is low down in the field pecking order. He has lived out 24/7 for the last year but is always happy to come into a stable.
Loads easily onto lorry or trailer. Waits quietly at shows, even if you take a friend away, he makes no fuss.
Easy to keep- hay and hifi/ balancer. Good with farrier- he has great feet (shod in front- but easy to do behind) but could easily go bare foot.
This year he was sedated to clip but only because he had dentist at the same time- he has no issues with having his bridle path clipped so can’t see clipping to be an issue.
I have to stress- HE IS NOT for a novice rider. He is a sensitive pony that is very aware of his rider’s movements/noises.
He has panicked in the past with his novice owner and does show nervous moments with more confident rider but it doesn’t escalate if your competent (happy to discuss).
Lots of pictures and videos of him available.
Priced at 9k but open to an offer for a quick sale- they would also be open to a swap situation for an older or less sensitive pony that would suite their daughter.

Lovely Talented Jumping Pony; Perfect BS Prospect

Our much-loved pony is now looking for his next jockey, as he has sadly been hopelessly outgrown by my 16-year-old son.

He is a lovely, light and responsive ride who has been carefully and correctly produced throughout the time we have owned him. He has a big, powerful jump, so would ideally suit a confident rider wanting to progress up the showjumping levels.

We have owned him for the past 2.5 years, during which time he has remained very low mileage for his age and has never been over-jumped.

He passed a full 5-stage vetting with a clean set of X-rays when we purchased him in January 2024.

Although he hasn't competed BS due to my son prioritising rugby over horses, he has all the ability to make an excellent BS pony, with scope and capability for the bigger tracks. He is has trained up to 110 and competed unaffiliated at 1m.

He would also produce a lovely dressage test, with an excellent extended trot and three balanced paces.

A pleasure to hack both alone and in company, he is excellent in traffic and sensible in open spaces; never strong or silly.

Good to load, shoe, clip and handle and fully up to date with vaccinations, dentist, physio and farrier.

A genuine, talented pony with a bright future ahead of him in the right home.
