Alex Warren
Our much-loved 13.2hh, 12yo cob gelding

Alex has been there, done it, and got the t-shirt! Previously part of a riding school, he’s now been in a private home where he’s patiently and safely brought a young rider up from complete beginner to confidently riding off on her own. Sadly, she’s now outgrown him and it’s time for Alex to find his next little jockey to teach.

He’s the type every parent hopes to find – kind, genuine, and experienced. A real confidence-giver who knows his job, but still has enough spark to make things fun. He’ll happily take a rider into a fence, yet can sometimes need a little leg, making him a perfect step-up pony to help develop riding skills.

Ideal second pony
Previously in a riding school
Taught a child from scratch
Ridden by a variety of riders with different abilities
Hacks alone or in company
Good on the yard
Vice-free

Alex is a safe, sensible, and honest pony who will continue to look after his rider while helping them progress. The sort that’s hard to find and even harder to replace.

Snow White – 12.2hh, 8-Year-Old Mare

Snow White is a lovely 12.2hh, 8-year-old chunky mare with a leg in every corner. She has the sweetest temperament and is always eager to please, making her a real favourite to have around.

She is very much a kick-along type who enjoys life in the slow lane. Snow White has mainly been used for hacking, forest rides, and has attended a few local shows. She has happily jumped around 40cm–50cm courses and will quietly trot around a course, or step things up a little for a more confident rider.

She is a sensible, well-behaved pony who enjoys getting out and about and having fun. She would ideally suit a child who is looking for a safe, genuine pony to enjoy hacking, riding club activities, fun rides, and local shows.

Snow White is good in traffic, up to date with her vaccinations and farrier, and is a straightforward, easy pony to have on the yard.

A kind, honest mare with plenty to offer the right young rider.

Bear - 14.2hh 9yo Cob Gelding - Fun, Kind & Full of Character

Ref #: 410723

  • Hacks alone & in company, great in traffic, ride & lead, bareback & pub rides
  • Easy to manage, good with kids, dogs, machinery. Lives in/out & with others

Bear is a super fun and genuine pony with a great personality. He is a real favourite on the yard - affectionate, kind, cheeky and always wanting to be involved. He quickly becomes part of the family and loves a fuss and attention.

He has competed successfully in unaffiliated showjumping and arena eventing, including wins at arena eventing, and has qualified for the BE ACE Championships. In a previous home he enjoyed Pony Club activities, Pony Club camp, showjumping and beach rides.

Bear hacks alone or in company, is good in traffic and in open spaces. He is regularly used to ride and lead, enjoys pub rides and will happily stand quietly while everyone stops for a drink, soaking up the attention from passers-by who inevitably stop to give him a fuss! He has also been ridden bareback. He is used to a busy yard environment and is great with children, dogs, sheep, farm machinery and general hustle and bustle.

He has lovely, correct paces and would do a sweet dressage test, along with a neat, rhythmical jump. He has produced double clears at 70cm and has been schooled comfortably over 80cm+, showing ability to continue progressing if his new jockey wishes. He has cross-country schooled confidently, happily jumping water, ditches, steps and other questions.

Bear has previously spent time in a riding school; however, he much prefers having his own person and thrives in a more knowledgeable home where he can continue to develop and build a partnership with his rider. He is absolutely not nasty, but he is a bit too wise to enjoy life as a riding school pony.

On the ground he is easy and straightforward - good to catch, clip, groom, shoe and a pleasure to handle. He is very easy to manage, a very good doer, lives happily in or out, settles well with other horses and is happy living in a herd environment. He is currently barefoot but has previously been shod and is good for the farrier. He passed a full 5-stage vetting last year.

Although he has been owned and ridden by novices and many children, he is a fun and capable pony who would be best suited to a competent child with a knowledgeable family, teenager or small adult who can continue bringing out the best in him. He has happily done lead rein with tiny children; however, I feel he would be best suited as a confident second or third pony rather than a first ridden. A supportive family who appreciate a pony with a bit of character would be perfect.

This is a very sad sale as I had hoped to keep Bear for my future children. However, plans have changed and I feel he deserves the opportunity to be out enjoying life and making memories with someone else now, rather than waiting for a future that may be several years away. We have had so much fun together, built a wonderful bond and he has been an absolute joy to own.

I would love to stay in touch with his future owners and, if possible, would appreciate first refusal should he ever be sold in the future.

Only the very best home will be considered for this much-loved pony.

Based in a Foster Home – Richmond area

Karah is a sweet natured pony looking for a knowledgeable home as a non-ridden companion. Karah enjoys company and would make a lovely field companion for another horse or pony on a quiet yard.

She is good to catch, lead, groom and handle on a day-to-day basis, and is a kind and pleasant pony to have around. She does require further training and confidence-building with veterinary procedures, so she will need an experienced and patient owner and vet who is willing to continue her education in this area.

Beautiful 14.3hh New Forest Cross Mare – Exceptional Home Only

Skyler is a stunning 14.3hh New Forest cross mare, turned 5 in April, with a striking mix of white, chestnut and roan. She is sired by the Buckland Skyline and has been with me since a foal, so her full history is known and available.

She has been produced slowly, correctly, and never rushed — only by some of the best natural-horsemanship-based trainers in Oxfordshire. Her education has been thoughtful and consistent, giving her a wonderful foundation to continue progressing.

She had the recent winter off and is now back in training.

Sire: Buckland Skyline

Skyler is a lovely mare to ride, very forward going — she moves beautifully and has a naturally soft way about her. I hacked her all last summer, both in company and alone. She enjoys hacking and schooling (She has only done light schooling, due to age).
She is still young and learning, so she does take confidence from her rider. She thrives with someone calm, consistent, and knowledgeable who understands natural horsemanship principles. With the right partnership, she will continue to flourish.

She has been stabled previously but genuinely prefers living out with natural shelter. She is happiest in a routine and respects fencing and can share with mares or geldings.

Brand-new, professionally fitted saddle and bridle available to purchase with her if desired.

Currently based in Oxfordshire with my trainers due to lack of grazing livery where I live.

This is a very difficult decision, and she will only go to the best home. She is not a horse for just anyone — she needs someone who values correct, kind, horsemanship-based training and can offer her consistency as she continues her education.

Hundreds of photos and videos available. She is open to vetting.

Full passport.

Dora is a lovely 12.2hh, 5-year-old cob mare with a kind and genuine nature.

She is a responsive ride who works well in the arena, happily walking, trotting and cantering, and is confident over poles. Dora is sensible and straightforward, with no spooky behaviour.

She has been used successfully in a riding school environment with both novice and intermediate riders, proving herself to be reliable and willing. As a young pony, she is still gaining experience and education, but she has never shown any signs of bad behaviour – she has never bucked, reared, bolted or displayed any nastiness.

Dora hacks out confidently both alone and in company and is good to handle on the ground. She stands quietly for grooming, bathing and the farrier.

Due to her responsive nature, Dora would not be suitable for a complete beginner, but she would make an excellent second pony for a rider looking to progress and have fun.

She has no known health issues and is open to any vetting. Viewings are welcome.

Absolute Gem of a Pony. Very Sadly outgrown, current rider is moving on to horses.
We have owned Kenso for over 2 years, and have been out and had the most wonderful time with him.

We’ve been to camp, arena eventing, ODEs, beach/fun rides. He has been out competing up to 95 BS and NSEA, jumps 1.10 at home.
He is a fit and forward competition pony that makes his rider feel like they can take on the world.

Will go on a flyer, or pop on a short stride and get out of trouble. He covers the ground well, will make a turn and jump on angles with ease.
He will jump the tiniest of skinny’s. Locks on to a fence and takes his rider to it, without pulling or taking strides out.
Pops hedges with open ditches - has hunted with previous owner.

Hacks out well alone or in company. Super safe, good in traffic.
Easy to catch, enjoys a fuss.

Lives out during the summer - in during the winter with time in all weather turn out pen during the day.
Good to do in all ways the only thing he doesn’t appreciate is being clipped around his back end, however it is manageable.
Full history known. References can be provided.

We are seeking a knowledgeable, competition home that will enjoy him as much as we have. He really loves his jumping, We would love to see him take his next little rider up the levels.

Lola is as straight forward and kind as they come, she will be your best friend. She has the full CV and the T-shirt to go with it. She’s been hunting, hunter trials, lots of unaffiliated comps always snaffle mouthed and polite.

Lola’s CV-
very polite on the ground - I’d give her to anyone your grandma, child, none horsey friend.
easiest pony to keep and have around happy to be by herself or in a herd.
Lola has three rhythmical paces working very well in walk and trot the canter is still a little weak to hold a frame consistently but it’s improving daily.
she has a fabulous and correct jump proving easy, straight and bold to a fence jumping up to 90cm I feel she’s got more to give with fitness.
she is fabulous to hack alone or in company and has been like a rock for all traffic we’ve met including alpacas.

Deedee is an exceptional talent for the future and is clearly destined for big things in the right hands. We honestly believe that she could be a top FEI Pony showjumping or eventing. She has endless scope over a fence, perfect technique, extremely careful and the “let’s do it” brain to match. All these characteristics will certainly make her a future star.

Currently jumping 90/1m out at UA SJing with teenager, schooling at home round 110/115 with ability to keep going. She hasn’t been registered BS yet so has 0 points and can start at the lower levels if someone wanted to do 2nd rounds, Bluechip, and all the pony qualifiers. She’s also been XC schooling and we are sure she would event too.

Deedee is a lovely genuine pony, does not had a stop in her and isn’t fazed by fillers or water trays ect. She is a forward going pony but she’s not overly strong, Buzzy, or silly. She loves her job and wants to please and get on with it. We feel to get the best out of her we’d love her to go to a competitive family, knowledgable and experienced on the pony circuit. She isn’t a novice PC pony type, she’s a competition pony. However she loves pleasure rides, hacking, hunting, loves being fussed and having attention.

At home and at a show, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with. No quirks or hang ups. No vices. There really isn’t a single bad bone in the pony.

Excellent trail facilities in Worcester.

Timmy is a straight forward, genuine little pony with a lovely attitude and an old head on young shoulders. He is good to do in all ways — turnout, catch, stable, clip, bath, tack up, load, and travel.

He hacks out confidently both alone and in company and has proven to be sensible in traffic, taking everything in his stride. Timmy has also been to arena hires and farm rides, proving to be bold, brave, and willing wherever he goes.

He is the type that enjoys his work and has a willing, easy nature making him a pleasure to have around.

A kind, sensible pony with plenty to like and a lovely future ahead of him.

Timmy is currently ridden by a range of children being great on the lead rein and stepping it up a gear to jump around the cross country field and pops around a course of fences

Would make a super pony club all rounder but could easily turn his hoof to any discipline . Timmy comes with a full wardrobe and vet cert.

I have an amazing 13 hands 6 years mare.

Neigha has been my son's second pony from his lead rein pony and she has been amazing bringing his riding on and she hacks and is brave as a lion. Been hunting and jumped logs to the biggest of hedges. She jumps around 60's still can be a little green in this sphere. But with time and schooling I can definitely see her having a great future and going on to be a great bsja pony. Really ready to go on and further her education this summer. Her vaccinations are up to date so you could pick her up and take her straight out and start building a relationship. This mare has great scope and great technique.

She is a complete legend hacking out alone or in company goes first or last completely trustworthy and always leaves her rider with a huge smile. Great with traffic and open spaces. Been on hound exercise all last year and was very well behaved and jumped some serious hedges and trappy fences all with a 8 year old on.

You can leave her on the lorry by herself and she will happily stay there and behave, she has beautiful manners anywhere she goes, her temperament is truly exceptional. she will be dearly missed, but my boy is wanting the next step up.

Would be a fantastic pony club pony but we have had an awful experience of pony club so we don't go. But she has done clinics and cross country sessions with friends river rides. Great pony to take to camp and she will give everything a go.

She is a cracking girl and ready for her next little person to love her.

Ceilidh’s super conformation, movement, soundness and temperament earned her a Gold award at the August 2025 British Breeding Futurity where she was the top-scoring two-year-old at the Bromyard event. She also comfortably graded into the SPSS (Sports Pony Studbook Society) main mare studbook at the same time with a superb 18/20 temperament mark, and was simultaneously awarded a Gold Premium SPSS Youngstock evaluation, adding to her previous Premium award as a yearling in 2024.

- Registered and passported as a part-bred Highland
- Eligible for over-stamping by the UK ApHC as a part-bred
- Expected final height 14.2hh
- Vaccinations, worm control programme, and teeth all up to date
- Genetic testing: six-panel negative, and temperament gene (DRD4) G/G - "horse may be more curious than vigilant"- which is entirely consistent with Ceilidh's sensible outlook to novel objects and situations!
- Good to catch, trim feet, groom, bath, clip, lead, tie, travel etc
- Been to several large county shows - behaved beautifully
- Well-handled with a solid groundwork foundation (leading, back-up, yielding shoulders and hind-quarters)
- Used to dogs, cats, pigs and poultry underfoot
- Lives out 24/7, but stables/rugs happily too
- Confident by herself in stables or field - doesn't mind her friends being taken away
- Open to vet
- Ceilidh has one blue eye and one brown eye, so if you can't stand horses with blue eyes, swipe left!

Ceilidh spent the winter living out in a mixed-age herd of horses, one cow and two pigs (!) and now she is approaching her 3rd birthday we are about to commence long reining and lungeing with a view to lightly backing her this summer ready to ride away next spring. Price is sensibly negotiable to the perfect home whilst she remains un-started, but will firm up once we commence starting her under saddle, and rise as her training progresses... so if you want her well-handled but un-started at the lowest possible price, get your skates on!

Ceilidh has enough substance to comfortably carry an adult once she is mature and fit. She weighs about 475kg, so max 20% of her bodyweight will be a maximum rider weight of approx 12.5 stone (plus tack/clothing) but obviously for her early ridden work, a lighter rider will be far preferable. 9.5 stone (plus tack/clothing) will be about 15% of her bodyweight.

Please note - this advert originally stated she was to make 15/15.1. This was an error: embarrassingly, I discovered my measuring stick was not locked out to full length!

Email/Text/WhatsApp messages preferred for initial enquiries as I can't usually answer my phone during office hours.

7 years old this year late foal.

Has bs sj on a ticket (video's available) via whats app

Has x country schooled and competed dressage and show jumping with previous owner, has also hunted with both blood and fox hounds
jumps anything put in front of him, forward to a fence but not strong, soft snaffle mouth

Great hack alone or with company, forward but not strong, soft snaffle mouth, schools nicely when in consistent work, goes nicely in an outline when in consistent work, we have been schooling him jumping , pole work so he see's his own stride, but he will still jump whether he see's his own stride or gets it wrong. we have had him out competing, great to load and travel and fine with all going on around him in the warm up, goes with his ears pricked and a smile on his face, he is not the finished article, but he has been out competing and been placed each time so far, (no poles down)
but my very recent heart attack has put paid to our competing, unsure if I will get going again.
I brought him (mature petit female) with the intention of showing, whp, sj, ode, arena eventing and hunting and hacking.
lovely chunky stamp of a pony,no recorded breeding but by his lovely cheeky kind character and his eye catching leg action in trot, I would assume him to be a welsh part bred. not enough feather to do traditional classes though !

Happy chap to deal with day to day, good catch , clip , farrier load etc, no vices or lumps or bumps, very good doer !

Vacc's , teeth, worming all up to date

Brought a year ago with full 5 stage vets cert.
After my heart attack i am unsure going forward of my future plans so he is sadly offered for sale with a short lease period (to be discussed)he would be easy to get straight back into work and out competing, his tack and rugs could go with him,
he is not available for loan, and I do not think he would suit a novice.
I did not expect to advertise him once I got him going, but sadly no one can predict the future or health issues
he is a lovely natured pony who should be out competing and enjoying himself with a like minded rider.

If advert is still live then he is still available
texts will not be answered.. other then for jumping video, I have no addition videos of recent show jumping as I was not expecting to put him up for sale !
