3-year-old (born July 2023) spotted dun SPSS-graded Sports Pony mare. Home-bred as a higher-level PC/RC all-rounder prospect for a competitive amateur rider or experienced teenager, but would also suit endurance, western disciplines, mounted games or showing (e.g. spotted, part-bred Foreign Breeds, Sports Pony, part-bred native, or WHP).

Widgeon Hill Ceilidh is by Highland pony Balmoral Sport and out of the ApHC-registered and SPSS-graded mare Chamfron Chipita, who brings in versatile American Appaloosa and Quarter Horse performance bloodlines (including a dose of TB).

Ceilidh’s super conformation, movement, soundness and temperament earned her a Gold award at the August 2025 British Breeding Futurity where she was the top-scoring two-year-old at the Bromyard event. She also comfortably graded into the SPSS (Sports Pony Studbook Society) main mare studbook at the same time with a superb 18/20 temperament mark, and was simultaneously awarded a Gold Premium SPSS Youngstock evaluation, adding to her previous Premium award as a yearling in 2024.

- Registered and passported as a part-bred Highland
- Eligible for over-stamping by the UK ApHC as a part-bred
- Expected final height 14.2hh
- Vaccinations, worm control programme, and teeth all up to date
- Genetic testing: six-panel negative, and temperament gene (DRD4) G/G - "horse may be more curious than vigilant"- which is entirely consistent with Ceilidh's sensible outlook to novel objects and situations!
- Good to catch, trim feet, groom, bath, clip, lead, tie, travel etc
- Been to several large county shows - behaved beautifully
- Well-handled with a solid groundwork foundation (leading, back-up, yielding shoulders and hind-quarters)
- Used to dogs, cats, pigs and poultry underfoot
- Lives out 24/7, but stables/rugs happily too
- Confident by herself in stables or field - doesn't mind her friends being taken away
- Open to vet
- Ceilidh has one blue eye and one brown eye, so if you can't stand horses with blue eyes, swipe left!

Ceilidh spent the winter living out in a mixed-age herd of horses, one cow and two pigs (!) and now she is approaching her 3rd birthday we are about to commence long reining and lungeing with a view to lightly backing her this summer ready to ride away next spring. Price is sensibly negotiable to the perfect home whilst she remains un-started, but will firm up once we commence starting her under saddle, and rise as her training progresses... so if you want her well-handled but un-started at the lowest possible price, get your skates on!

Ceilidh has enough substance to comfortably carry an adult once she is mature and fit. She weighs about 475kg, so max 20% of her bodyweight will be a maximum rider weight of approx 12.5 stone (plus tack/clothing) but obviously for her early ridden work, a lighter rider will be far preferable. 9.5 stone (plus tack/clothing) will be about 15% of her bodyweight.

Please note - this advert originally stated she was to make 15/15.1. This was an error: embarrassingly, I discovered my measuring stick was not locked out to full length!

Email/Text/WhatsApp messages preferred for initial enquiries as I can't usually answer my phone during office hours.

Texas is a genuinely top class ridden prospect to make 15hh . He has the breeding and type to excel in any ridden sphere - dressage, jumping, endurance, showing - and is confident, elegant and powerful moving for a driven prospect.

He has been bred to perform and already shows three uphill and balanced paces, with very correct conformation. Texas is the perfect combination of refined power and exquisite elegance - a beautifully marked colt that oozes presence he is eligible for registration with PBA, PBW and SPSS and this big moving, exquisite quality colt is sure to be a top contender for any relevant classes.

His sire is the stunning sports stallion - Fames Dakota - a 155cm dual purpose sports stallion that is dual licenced and graded. He is a naturally athletic stallion who is a dressage champion, trained to PSG, with a huge scopey jump (1.2m at home). He has a proven track record as a sire with progeny excelling in everything from endurance to showing, dressage to eventing.

His dam is a powerful and very correct welsh cob by Fronarth Welsh Lion and features many super Welsh cobs in her immediate pedigree. She has proved to be a top producer of smaller sports / competition horse for me at Taraco Stud including TS Tesoro, TS Tiamo, TS Toronto and TS Talihka and TS Texas looks just as athletic as his siblings.

Texas is eligible for registration/over stamping with AHS, WPCS and SPSS (sports pony stud book society) so gives his owner multiple showing opportunities.

Photos at 2 - 6 days old and these will be updated as he matures. Countless photos available by email or whatapp. Mobile network is slightly unpredictable here so please email or WhatsApp if needed and I will call you back.

Cornmill Charisma, a part bred Rocky Mountain Horse, 2023 Silver bay mare 15.2.

Quality dressage/event bred filly. Also light enough in bone as a potential endurance prospect but also calm and sensible enough to be a nice family horse. Dam was a dressage diva.

She is straight and correct with great conformation, no lumps or bumps with amazing paces.

Bred by the Cornmill stud then bought as a foal at foot with her dam by current owners who still own her dam.

She is the friendliest mare with the most gorgeous nature, absolutely loves attention will stand forever for a groom, easy to deal with and up to date with everything.

Her genetics are EeZzA so she can potentially throw silver, black, red or bay foals depending on the stallion.

She has a small scar on her lip from an injury as a foal but it's purely cosmetic.
