Sam has been to a few competitions, autumn hunter trialing, combined training and show jumping with good results. Hes very careful over a show jump with a great technique.

He goes well on the flat. came home with 2nd in a combined training class over the winter (his first time between the boards) 2nd UA dressage (prelim) and did some showing last summer. Where he won his both his in hand class, and ridden class before going reserve champion. His mother went to HOYS as a show hunter pony with me when I was younger and his dad has produced a few HOYS contenders both showing and show jumping, while others have been seen doing very well on the grassroots circuit! As you can imagine with this breeding he has very correct conformation and movement. He really is a head turner.

He’s a had good education and I plan to crack on with him BE in the coming season. Competed in a Cotswold cup at pontispool with 28.5 DC to finish 3rd. He’s brave xc not phased by any obstacles.

Hes good to hack alone or in company. Rides and leads. Not the sort that has to be ridden everyday.

Good to clip, shoe, travel, load etc…

Been hunting a handful of times, including joint meets. Really enjoyed the job and proved to be very well behaved and mannerly.

He will suit a confident pilot who just wants to crack on and have fun.

He’s still green in the arena but rides well for his age and is very genuine, has been a really good boy to hack and ride in open spaces.

A lot of homebreds in the mix with great bloodlines including our own special stallion Chrysler key, and then recently important horses from Ireland as well. A forward going fun cob who puts the pleasure back into riding!

He hacks he schools he jumps there’s nothing he won’t turn his hoof to.

There’s not a sharp bone in his body although he’s not your kick along cob he’s forward going and thrives off his work. Doesn’t buck or rear just forward.

He’s well put together and is a Lovley stamp. He would be a super cob for the show ring if someone was to put a bit of flat work into him.

He’s done a bit of cross country also which he loves and he’d be a super

Cob for the next hunt season.

(The cob formerly known as Clarence) super fun all rounder / hunting cob who is sadly offered for sale due to owner’s retirement. Jimmy was brought over from Ireland by us as a 4 year old, he was then sold to his current owners who have had him ever since. They are both now in their 80’s and hanging up their riding boots so he has returned to find his new hopefully forever home.

Jimmy has been a fun all rounder in his current home, his owners were regular subscribers with the Fitzwilliam hunt and he’s been well hunted by the whole family. He’s a cracking cob to hunt, stands quietly when asked, excellent at meets and happy to pop all hunt jumps. He absolutely loves the job and is safe but keen, he is always a little strong on his first canter out in the open but then becomes very easy. Adult daughter has intermittently taken him out both SJ and XC schooling, he enjoys his jumping and could go on to do all RC activities. Jimmy has mainly hacked and hunted with his owners so his flat work needs a little polishing off to do a dressage test, however, he is obedient and off the aids in the school when asked.

Out hacking he’s super, good both alone and in company and has been great in fairly busy traffic. He’s forward thinking but not really going anywhere with it and for this reason he’s not for a wobbly novice.

He’s very easy to have on the yard, happy to live in or out and good to box, shoe, clip etc. he’s up to date with everything and ready to go and have some fun. He has a couple of little handling quirks, can be a bit rude to lead in and out the field and needs someone horse savvy but this has been managed and not a problem with elderly owners. He’s a bit unsettled here atm with us and needs to find an understanding private home asap as hasn’t taken the change very well and likes to know his people! That being said he’s settling back in to his routine here quite quickly and we have him sussed handling wise.

Best home wanted who will drop old owners the odd message and let them know how he is.

Lovely cob who will make someone a really fun all rounder/ hack/ possible hunter.

Not a sluggy dead cob! Toto is a fun forwards thinking boy with a nice mouth and way of going, he would be a lot of fun to take to local unaff dressage, SJ, XC etc. he rides very sweetly on the flat and works in a natural shape, he’s nicely off the aids but not sharp or silly with it. He would definitely suit a keen middle aged RC lady who wants something that feels like it has a bit of engine without going anywhere. He’s very quiet out hacking both alone and in company and excellent in traffic, has been up to the pub with us, happy to stand patiently, steal a chip / half a pint etc. he’s good in open spaces and pulls up when asked.

We have taken him XC schooling and he was genuine and brave, jumped everything asked of him and was a lot of fun. He’s also jumping round a small course of coloured fences very happily but will trot down to a fence if you don’t want full speed ahead! We have taken him on a sponsored ride with rusty, inexperienced rider and he behaved brilliantly and gave her loads of confidence jumping and picked her back up when she nearly wobbled off! He’s got plenty of jump to go and do everything at local level well and will give someone an awful lot of fun. To jump in the arena Toto is a little greener but still very genuine, he’s happy to give everything a go. He just needs a few more miles on. The clock as last home only really hacked him.

Toto is a lovely chap to handle, box, catch, shoe, clip etc. he loves fuss and attention, he’s got very good manners and likes people.

Experienced, capable, tall teen looking for a 15.2hh to 16.3hh that is genuine to a fence. Must have some scope and be capable of jumping at least a metre happily. She has great coaches and is a kind confident rider. She has jumped up to newcomers in juniors and now looking to moving on in seniors.

If horse enjoys a bit of xc, arena eventing, and ode’s this is an added bonus but we do this more for fun and to add some variety.
May suit a horse that has evented and prefers the sj.

We can offer a long term, loving, experienced home. We keep our horses at home and they want for nothing. We have stables with lots of turnout and we can cater for most needs. We ideally want something that is at least happy to hack out in company as we have lovely quiet hacking. Horse must travel well.

Good budget. We are in the south west but will travel within reason. Slight quirks/ailments considered but must be disclosed.

Orio is a stunning 16.3hh, 8-year-old ISH gelding. He has been to the beach, arena hires, farm rides, clear rounds, and a few local shows, proving to be very confident and keen. He is now ready to go out competing with a confident rider to unlock his full potential.

He thrives off work and improves with every ride. Orio would make an excellent all-rounder for someone wanting to do a bit of everything. He is very genuine to a fence and confident over fillers. Hacks alone and in company. He is good with traffic and is frequently around farm machinery on country roads.

Orio has jumped courses up to 1m at home and up to 90cm at clear rounds and shows.

He is good for the dentist, catching, clipping, physio, and travelling. Orio came to us being sedated for the farrier, so we have continued this throughout owning him. However, he has only ever had positive experiences with us and our farrier, who has also been happy to shoe him without sedation when he has pulled shoes in the field, where Orio proved calm and relaxed.

He is a pleasure to be around and a big softie with a lovely personality. He is always commented on wherever he goes and will be sorely missed on the yard. We are in no rush to sell, and a 5* home is a must.

Not suitable for a novice rider, as he needs a confident and experienced home.
