  • Fantastic Temperament, Good To Do In All Ways

Moose is a quality, level headed pony with a fantastic temperament. Imported from Ireland in January 2025, he has been produced slowly and correctly, allowing plenty of time to mature. He is completely unspoilt and is ready for someone to put their own stamp on him. He is a lovely mover with correct conformation and a known history.

He has a green book, and class 1 breeding on both sides, with bloodline including ‘I Love You Melody’ and ‘Frederiksminde Hazy Match’.

He is completely clean limbed with a clean vet cert and x-rays from Ireland. N/n Hwsd.

He is snaffle mouthed, comes to call, hacks alone or in company, is excellent to tack up and stands to be mounted. He loads and travels impeccably and has a kind, affectionate nature. Moose is unfazed by traffic, farm machinery and everyday activities.

He has popped a few small jumps, proving to be bold, careful and scopey. He has also been to the beach, where he behaved exceptionally well.

Although still green, Moose is riding away under saddle and is established in walk, trot and canter. He is phenomenal in open spaces, proving to be brave, honest and sensible. He is eager to learn and with the right education, I believe he will make a fantastic event, riding club or competition pony. It is rare to find such a straightforward young horse with his athleticism and temperament.

Moose would suit a confident teenager looking for a quality competition prospect or equally a knowledgeable mother daughter share. He is like a shrunken down warmblood and not your typical Connemara, being a particularly athletic stamp.

That said, he is still a young pony and requires an experienced, knowledgeable home to continue his education. No novices please, whilst sensible and straightforward, he is still in the early stages of his education and deserves a home that can help him reach his full potential.

This is an incredibly difficult and genuine sale. Due to a sudden family bereavement, I no longer have the mental capacity to continue producing a young horse, nor do I have the facilities he needs to progress further. As a result, he is simply being wasted with me.

Serious enquiries only please. Moose is a very talented pony with a bright future ahead of him and he really is worth his weight in gold.

Feel free to text - more information, photographs and videos available upon request.

Princess (Fearglass Princess) is 5 years old, ID X TB mare, currently standing at approximately 15.3hh but still has growing to do.

She was backed in 2025 and now she is doing lessons, going out on hacks, good with traffic but still a lot of learning left to do. She is a keen and quick learner so in the right hands she will progress very quickly.

She is perfect to load and unload, lead, pick up all four feet, good with farrier, dentist, perfect in and out. Up to date with vaccinations and worming.

This horse has a unique personality and ability to become a perfect horse and forever friend.

Candy, 16.3h 9 year old dark bay / black mare.

Out of a Cavalier Royale X Clover Hill mare that has jumped 1.40s and has some 145 offspring, by Sligo Candy boy.

Candy is a super attractive model. She is so correctly put together and 3 flashy, athletic paces and a scopey, brave jump.

Candy has had some foals as a youngster due to owner not having a rider and she has produced some lovely quality offspring and was a very good mother.

She has been broken in and jumped at some shows on a ticket and been training round 1.10m at home and arena hires.

Candy is offered at trade price and sold from the field due to making a noise when in work. It doesn’t affect her too much, and she probably could continue to work through it however it also could need a tie back in the future.

Currently in the field, could go and be a broodmare or could go on and be a serious jumper. She has all the right ingredients.

Absolutely stunning, registered haflinger yearling gelding. The absolute best of breeding! And you really can tell! Beautiful model, and really is going to be a stunning boy.

He is very well handled, friendly and just a pleasure to have around. He is up to date with his feet being trimed, vaccinated and wormed up to date. Standing at around 13.3h now so going to be a big boy!

I bought this lovely boy to bring on myself and put him out with my 2 yr olds whilst they grow. But unfortunately they just wont let him in to the herd with them and its not fair on him.

He is very straight and correct, no lumps, bumps or sarcoids. Moves beautifully and just has that look at me flashy look

Stables fine. Leads and walks to the field great. Has seen alsorts of farm machinery and traffic and is not phased in the slightest. He is a very brave boy and is going to make someone a cracking future prospect!

Shaky (show name Shakin Stevens) is my 16.2hh Dutch Warmblood gelding and this is one of the hardest adverts l've ever had to write. He was my first horse. I knew nothing when I bought him, and he very patiently taught me so much. He is the type of horse that looks after you when you don't even realise you need looking after.

In his younger years, Shaky competed up to 1.40m, travelling and jumping across Portugal and Spain as a professional showjumper before I bought him as a 15-year-old to help build my confidence. He has truly been there, done it, and worn the T-shirt. In October 2024, he was referred to Liphook for investigation of bruising to his pedal bone. Given his previous career and findings, I made the decision to retire him fully from jumping and find him a life where he could just be happy.

He has now been turned away and living out for around 15 months and is completely comfortable in himself with no current health issues. He is barefoot on all four feet. Shaky does have shivers in his hind legs, which unfortunately means he is unable to have his back feet picked up. This has been managed by allowing him to keep his feet on the ground and it has never caused him pain or distress, but it is an important part of his care. He is an incredibly gentle soul. He would never bite or kick and is very easy in his nature.

He can be slightly head shy when first getting to know someone, but once he trusts you he becomes very affectionate and forms a strong bond. He is good to turn out with others and mixes well in a herd. Under saddle, he would now only be suitable for very light hacking (walk and trot only). In new environments he can occasionally be a little nappy, but it is never dangerous or nasty - he just needs a calm, reassuring rider and voice. Shaky means the world to me. He was my first horse, my teacher, and a huge part of my journey.

I am looking for a 5 star knowledgeable, loving, long-term companion home only where he will be genuinely cared for and understood. Home will be carefully vetted, and I would love to stay in touch and receive updates. Absolutely no jumping or schooling work.

Ollie is a lovely Thoroughbred gelding, searching for a kind and caring non-ridden companion home where he can truly flourish. Having originally come into Blue Cross care from the Irish Horse Welfare Trust, Ollie has shown himself to be a sweet-natured and adaptable horse who enjoys both human company and the companionship of other horses.

Currently living out 24/7, Ollie settles well into herd life and happily lives alongside both mares and geldings. He is equally content to part stable when needed and has proven to be an easy horse to manage in his day-to-day routine. Ollie is good to catch, lead, groom, travel, and handle for both the vet and farrier, making him a rewarding and enjoyable companion to care for. He especially enjoys quiet interaction and in-hand walks, where his calm and gentle personality really shines through.

Ollie would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friendly horse to build a close bond with. He has a kind temperament, enjoys attention, and would thrive in a peaceful home where he can continue gaining confidence and enjoying a relaxed lifestyle. With his affectionate nature and easy-going attitude, Ollie has all the qualities to become a much-loved member of the family.

Maggie, a 16HH 2011 Thoroughbred Mare standing at one of our professional breeding yards.
Vettings and viewings most welcomed
Door to Door Transport Available Weekly

Maggie is the kind of horse that reminds you why people fall in love with Thoroughbreds in the first place.

Standing at a lovely 16hh, she is a beautiful mare with a gentle nature and the sort of calm, kind temperament that makes you instantly feel at ease around her. She raced back in 2019 but has not been ridden since, simply because life took her in a different direction. Even then, she was always incredibly quiet and easy to deal with, and we believe she would be very straightforward to bring back into work for someone wanting a sensible, enjoyable horse to produce at their own pace.

She has absolutely no vices, lumps, or bumps and has spent her time since racing enjoying life and becoming a wonderful broodmare, producing two lovely foals. She has been a fantastic mother and would equally suit someone looking for a future breeding mare or a kind all-round family horse to love and enjoy.

What we adore most about Maggie is how versatile she is. She doesn’t feel like a “one job only” horse. She feels like the sort of mare that could slot beautifully into almost any home. Whether that’s a quiet family homestead, a hacking home, a smallholding, fun rides, happy days exploring the countryside, or simply being someone’s treasured best friend who gets endlessly spoiled with treats and attention.

We are in no rush whatsoever to move her on, and she is more than welcome to stay here living a peaceful and happy life with us forever. But we thought we would put some feelers out in the hope that there may be someone special looking for a mare exactly like her. A home where she’ll be fussed over, adored, taken on relaxed hacks, and truly become part of the family.

Horses like Maggie don’t need big flashy sales pitches. She’s simply honest, kind-hearted, and the type of mare that deserves a soft landing and a lovely future.

Striking, unspooky and very easy, friendly 15.1hh black cob mare (born October 2020) with significant presence who has been out and about locally and on fun rides - ridden by all ages (64-12).

She has the potential to do a lot more in the right hands. She has been gently hacked out over the last 2 years and is reliable, sensible and safe. Owner is now looking to retire from riding and wants to see her fully optimised as the SWEET horse she IS and the OUTSTANDING family horse she can become.

This little horse moves nicely and is happy to pop a log and is happy with trotting poles and cross poles but has had no formal programme of schooling. She is responsive and quick to learn. She can be hacked on the buckle end, is totally chilled in open spaces, never takes hold and is more whoa than go-go-go. She would be brilliant as a loving family horse and happy hacker with the potential to do low level dressage/ showing/xc .

We live on country lanes and she is good with the local traffic and farm machinery. Her field is in the heart of a pheasant shoot & the guns do not worry her at all. I have never even noticed when she is in season - totally unmareish.

She is ready for a loving owner who will be consistent and who wants to teach her and/or learn with her. (Please note however that due solely to her age and size and my desire to see her progress she will NOT be sold to a total novice or unconfident rider/handler). She is bright and highly teachable - as such she will quickly become “that horse” that many riders want. I have not given her the consistency or next step of schooling and life experience she now is ready for. I would like to see her being brought on and taken out and about intelligently and kindly with a view to being her owner’s “life horse”. She has had a great and happy start here with groundwork, hacking and slow, steady and kind life experience. She is snaffle mouthed.

She has been clipped the last two winters. Barefoot with good hard feet although she was shod when I got her two years ago. She is good to load and easy to handle. She lives in or out – solo or company & is a good doer. (She has been predominantly with mares although her first summer here she shared a field with a gelding and was fine.) She respects electric fencing and does not eat the wood on post and rail fencing. She is unfazed being left on her own in the stable or when her friends leave her from the field and is always pleased to see you when you come to the gate either to say hello or take her in for a groom/ride. Never been sick or sorry.

No timewasters, purchase agreements or loans . 5* home only and, please, only people ready to commit as a swift sale is necessary .

In order to be efficient with everyones' time and effort please note the following process: Please text or call requesting a detailed set of videos and pictures ( conformation, way of going, farrier, loading, mounting , going over little bridges, road work etc , evidence of different riders etc etc... and if you are then interested then we can have a phone chat and if youre still interested then a viewing. This is a tough sale and she needs her new home by the end of June.

16:2hh 13-Year-Old Sports Horse Gelding - Seeking a 5? Hacking Home

It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a special new home for my much-loved 16.2hh, 13-year-old Sports Horse gelding, based in Warwickshire.

After a successful eventing career, he is now looking to step down from competition and enjoy a quieter life as a hacking horse. He has plenty to offer someone wanting a genuine, kind horse to enjoy hacking and low-key riding.

He has a lovely temperament, is a pleasure to have on the yard, and enjoys getting out and about. He would suit a knowledgeable rider looking for a quality horse to cherish rather than compete.

Finding the right home is my absolute priority. This is a very difficult decision, so a kind, experienced 5* home is essential. He deserves someone who will love him as much as I do and give him the quieter lifestyle he now needs.

Please message for more information, photos, videos, and to discuss phone 07896 762266

Fun all rounder who will do all PC/ RC activities and enjoys her jumping, she will go on to make a super all rounder or fun hunter.

Gracie works sweetly in the school and although not built for dressage tries her best to please and is obedient to ride, she is nicely forward thinking and not strong. Grace really enjoys her jumping and will pop round a course of 70/80 SJ fences. She’s adores XC and is brave and bold, happy over all solid fences, ditches, water etc. very ,much point and shoot. Gracie would we think be a lot of fun to take out hunting as she has a sensible brain and happily grows another leg to get herself out of trouble!

Grace loves her hacking both alone and in company. She is happy to go first or last and is good in traffic.

Grace came to us with a mounting issue, we have done a lot of ground work with her and now have her sussed. She is now easy to get on and off in all situations at home and when away but any potential owners will need to be horse savvy, be prepared and happy to be shown how we have dealt with her. With continuation of our work she won’t be an issue but is a bit of a bossy mare in this respect and will try her luck from time to time so won’t suit a novice owner. She’s a real character to have on the yard, but never bites/kicks etc, I wouldn’t call her very mareish, easy in the field with others, good to catch, box, shoe etc just needs reminding of her manners from time to time!

Fulwood Flamboyant (aka Tilly)

An Exceptional All-Rounder of Rare Quality, Proven Experience, and Absolute Integrity, is a superb example of a well-bred Irish Draught x Thoroughbred mare (King of Diamonds lineage), standing at 16.1hh and offering the kind of quality, temperament, and education that is increasingly difficult to find. This mare is ready to transition a serious young rider from ponies to horses, winning constantly along the way!"

At 16 years old, she is in her prime, a polished, experienced horse who has been thoughtfully and patiently produced, never overfaced or overworked. She represents the finished article: a genuine, confidence-giving partner with the ability to excel across disciplines.

With an established competition record including EGB, BSJA, and BRC, Tilly has proven herself time and again. She is a consistent performer, regularly finishing in the ribbons, comfortably jumping 90cm–1m, with bold, intelligent cross-country ability and correct, expressive flatwork established to Novice level, including lateral work and extensions.

What truly sets Tilly apart is her temperament. She is exceptionally genuine, a mare who instils confidence and allows her rider to perform at their best. She is straightforward, balanced, and beautifully rideable, with a naturally rhythmical canter and an instinctive ability to meet a fence correctly. She never stops, runs out,l or shys. She is never strong, yet offers presence, power, and responsiveness when asked.

She is not horse for a Novice rider as she is well schooled, she is kind to any rider and will look after a young person going onto horses.

She is equally exemplary in her handling. Impeccably mannered, with no vices whatsoever, she is easy in every respect, to catch, handle, travel, hack, and manage. She hacks alone or in company with complete reliability and remains composed in all environments. She is unflappable, level-headed, and entirely trustworthy.

Tilly has lived with me since she was six months old and has been produced with care, knowledge, and respect. Horses of this calibre, safe, sane, educated, and genuinely kind, are the result of years of investment, consistency, and horsemanship.

She would be ideally suited to a discerning amateur, riding club competitor, or a mother/daughter partnership seeking a safe yet capable horse who can deliver results while offering complete peace of mind.

This is an extremely reluctant sale due to my ongoing cancer treatment and as such, her future home is of the utmost importance and is more important than the price. I have two others and im finding it increasingly difficult to keep them fit especially with the winter a few months away, therefore she now needs to go onto someone who can get the joy and success out of her. REDUCED further for quick sale, not for any fault of hers.

She deserves a knowledgeable, appreciative owner and a kind, private environment with equine companionship.

Tilly is a complete, ready-made partner for someone who understand true quality, she represents exceptional value.

She can be viewed and ridden on the flat, also over showjumps and XC fences by appt at local Equestrian Centre.

Floss (Coedrhyd Libby) – 15hh, 12yo Registered Welsh Section D Mare

Breeding: Registered with WPCS. Sire: Pentrepoid Welsh Flyer | Dam: Aberconwy Victoria.

Super fun on a fun rides, rides a nice dressage test, dabbled in showing (untapped potential), and an absolute machine at hacking.

Hacks alone or in company (happily leads). She has incredible stamina and confidently tackles steep hills, bogs, stony tracks, sheep, cows, and barking dogs.

A truly genuine, sweet mare with a heart of gold. Like many Welshies, she can be spooky and sharp at times, but has zero malice. She just needs a confident, reassuring rider. Once she trusts you, she tries her absolute hardest. She's fast and fun, but can be spooky too!

Jumping: She is a dirty stopper. This stems purely from a lack of self-confidence rather than nastiness. She has potential to jump up to 60cm but just lacks the confidence!

An absolute saint to manage; happily lives out 24/7. Can easily change rugs/fly masks in the field without a headcollar.

Good to load if given 10 minutes to process without being rushed. Travels perfectly and quietly, even on long trips (up to 4 hours).

Up to date on everything. Barefoot (trimmed every 6 weeks, great to do). Perfect for the Vet; not needle shy. Physio and saddle fitter done every 3-6 months. Dentist; Done annually (requires sedation). Clipping she can be a bit fidgety but fine if you take your time (will not allow her head to be clipped).

Floss is a much-loved pride and joy, only being sold due to the owner traveling. She is the perfect partner for a confident rider wanting to enjoy fun rides, hacking and have a blast up the gallops!

We've just done a riding holiday in the Lake District where she was a legend, fully understood the assignment! Quiet as anything stood in the beer garden then razzed up the hills on a big group gallop!

On the ground, he’s just as kind. Easy to handle, mannerly, and settled in his routine. He’s been in a busy yard environment and takes it all in his stride, never sharp or silly, the sort you can rely on day in, day out.

Sonny is:
• Clean and sound
• Free from vices
• Sensible in his work
• A pleasure to have around

He would suit a wide range of homes from riding club and leisure riders, to amateurs wanting something genuine to produce further. He’s the type that adapts to his rider, not the other way around.

Horses like Sonny don’t come with fuss or fireworks, they come with something far more valuable: trust.

And once you’ve ridden one like him… you’ll understand why that matters.

Rusty, a 15.1HH 2021 Thoroughbred Gelding standing at one of our professional racing yards in Ireland.

Rusty, also known as Blaze, wasn’t bred to be ordinary but somewhere along the line, it became clear he wasn’t meant for the racing world either.

From the start he was the soft one. While others were sharp and switched on for speed, Rusty was the foal that leaned into people, the one who stayed a second longer for a scratch, the one that would rather connect than compete. He grew up being loved, and it shows in everything he does.

Rusty has never raced, not because he couldn’t, but because he’s simply too kind for that life. There’s no edge to him, no hardness, ojust a genuinely sweet, affectionate horse who wants to be someone’s partner, not a number.

He’s a lovely, correct type with a clean bill of health, no issues, no drama. But what really sets him apart is his nature. He’s the kind that will rest his head over your shoulder like he belongs there, quietly asking for a moment of your time. The kind that makes you slow down without even realising it.

Out in the field with his mates, he’s easy, relaxed, and content. Although… he has worked out how to sneak under a chained stable door when it suits him, which says a lot about his curious little personality ??

We’re reducing numbers in the yard, and Rusty is one we’ve chosen not to run. Not because he lacks quality, but because he deserves a different kind of life. One where he’s valued for who he is, not what he can win.

There’s something special about him. He feels like a blank page waiting for the right person to write the next chapter… whether that’s a gentle project, or a fun all-rounder. He’s had time off, so he’ll need bringing back into work, but his temperament makes him the kind you’d actually enjoy doing that with.

If he sounds like your kind of horse, or someone you know has been quietly looking for “that one”… just message me

Star, 16.1HH 2017 Thoroughbred Mare

Some horses are simply easy to love, and Star is exactly that kind of mare. The sort who quietly follows you around the yard, stands patiently while being fussed over, and gives you the feeling that she genuinely wants to be your partner.

Currently based at one of our race yards in Ireland, Star is now ready to leave racing behind and begin the next chapter of her life with someone special. She is clean, sound, and free from vices, with a kind, sensible temperament that makes her a pleasure to have around in every way.

Under saddle she is safe, willing, and uncomplicated. She hacks happily, enjoys her jumping, and would equally suit someone wanting to hunt, show jump, pleasure ride, or simply enjoy a lovely all-round horse. She has the brain and attitude that so many people search endlessly for in a Thoroughbred.

What truly makes Star stand out is her nature. She is incredibly sweet and caring, gentle around children, calm around other animals, and the type of mare who settles into a family environment beautifully. She isn’t sharp or difficult. She is honest, affectionate, and wants to please.

Star has all the elegance and athleticism of a Thoroughbred, paired with the temperament people dream of finding. She has so much more to give, and we would love to see her find a forever home where she can truly shine outside of racing.

Danny - 15.1hh to mature to 15.2hh | Dun | Registered Connemara Gelding | 4 Years Old

Smart, genuine gelding with a lovely temperament and plenty of potential. A real standout, he is exceptionally well handled, enjoys human company, and will happily follow you around the yard.

A young horse with a bright future ahead, Danny has been produced by myself thoughtfully and given plenty of time to mature. He lived out all winter in a herd environment, allowing him to develop naturally without being rushed.

He is good to handle in all respects and is up to date with vaccinations, farrier (currently barefoot), and dental care, including the removal of his wolf teeth. Loads and travels well in both a trailer and a lorry.

Danny is now riding away in walk, trot, and canter, and has popped a small fence. He shows all the attributes to excel in a variety of disciplines and would make a fantastic prospect for someone looking to bring on a talented young Connemara.

Beautiful 15hh 5 year old buckskin Irish cob mare, still bum high with lots of growing left to do. Don’t be put off by her age, she has the most amazing temperament and has so much to offer!

Misty hasn’t been rushed and has been left to mature slowly, she was recently professionally broken in and has proven to be the easiest of horses. She has a very willing attitude to work and is a very fast learner.

Although still green in the school, she will try her hardest for you and will give anything a go with no questions asked. She has seen coloured poles and popped logs.
Misty has mainly been doing lots of hacking, which she loves! She will happily hack out on her own and with others, she will leave horses mid hack with no fuss too. She is excellent in traffic, has seen heavy farm machinery, cyclists, motorbikes, cars and is totally un phased. The farm runs a shoot through the winter, the noise from the guns does not bother her. She has never bucked, reared, spun or bolted, doesn’t rev up in open spaces and is the same if you take her out anywhere in the trailer.

We believe she will make an excellent all rounder, she has a lovely active walk and is nicely off your leg. Even though she is only five, she fills you with confidence and will certainly give you many hours of happy hacking.

This is a very genuine sale due to pregnancy and not having the time to give her, we would love to see her go on to make someone equally very happy. Misty has so much potential to go onto enjoy many disciplines be it, low level jumping, hunting, pleasure rides, showing, dressage etc, she will make the perfect family horse for everyone to enjoy.

Misty is very good to clip, bath, good for farrier, vet and dentist, she will stand all day to be groomed, loads and travels like a dream. Misty can be turned out with others or on her own, she can be left out in the field alone and will happily graze if you take her friend away. She will live in or out and can be left in the field for a week and still be the same horse to ride.

We have lots of videos of her being ridden which can be sent upon request.
