Millie is a truly special Connemara pony who has been carefully and correctly produced. Genuine, brave, and talented, ridden on a snaffle. She loves her job and gives her all. With a neat, scopey jump and a fantastic attitude, she has already shown excellent promise across both eventing and show jumping.

She has competed over strong EI eventing tracks as part of her education, proving bold and confident through technical questions and combinations. Her show jumping record speaks for itself careful, capable, and ready to step up. She has three correct paces and her dressage improves with every outing, making her a genuine all-rounder

Millie offers some solid credentials:
• Confidently evented up to EI100 tracks, starting strong with clear rounds and placings at EI90P in Tyrella and Tattersalls, going on to place in her first EI100P at Ballindenisk. Progressed steadily and was never rushed
• Show jumping: Registered/Unregistered, 69 SJI points and competed to 1.10m with scope to go further.
• Full up 148cm with Lifetime FEI and SJI Measurements
• Connemara Green passport

My daughter had aged out of competitive ponies for 2025 but Millie has been kept in full work throughout, continuing her schooling and attending training events, so she is fit, educated, and ready to go.

She is straightforward and a joy to have around - sound with no health issues, easy to manage, and always eager to please. Brave yet careful, she loves her job. Millie hacks happily alone or in company, is safe in traffic, and is simple to shoe, load, and clip. No vices.
Millie has been a joy to own and has given us so many wonderful experiences. We want to find her a knowledgeable, caring home with an ambitious rider who can help her reach her full potential. Videos and further information are available on request.

Gooseberryhill Gallahad - Fabulous Established Event Pony

Ref #: 410724
  • 90 Foundation points with wins and placings u18 and 6th Badminton Grassroots Final 2026
  • Easy and talented in all phases
  • Polite and well schooled will step back for a smaller younger jockey

  • 90 Foundation points with wins and placings u18 and 6th Badminton Grassroots Final 2026
  • Easy and talented in all phases
  • Polite and well schooled will step back for a smaller younger jockey

Dude is a 10 year old dark bay Irish sports pony (LHC 148). His mum was a 13.2 jumping pony and his dad a thoroughbred - sired by the great Galileo.

Dude enjoys the adjustability and cleverness of a pony with the quality and stride of his father. With a willing can do attitude he is straightforward to ride, nicely forward and sensitive to the aids but not strong or fizzy, competing all three phases in snaffle and cavesson. He is well schooled and polite and will step back and look after a small but able rider (my son was tiny when he started riding him). He is a generous pony who has learned alongside my son. As a result he now expects the unexpected and will dig his rider out of a hole without bearing a grudge - he will look for the flags when his rider has forgotten to! Dude excels in all three phases, he is a true all rounder.

With my son he has progressed from their first BE 80 to BE100 in 18 months. They have tackled the toughest of tracks with ease and scope to burn and achieved many double clears and top placings along the way. He certainly has the quality, scope and attitude for pony trials - sadly GCSE’s prevented us from taking that next step last year.

To make up for that they qualified for and competed in the Badminton Grassroots Championships this year and placed 6th with a fabulous double clear, earning themselves a ridden prize giving at Badminton House.

Dude is also a family pony, he loves his people and a varied life with his friends. He has done all things pony club from rallies and camp to winning rugs at Hickstead and rosettes at spring and summer champs. He is a team stalwart sure to bring enormous success to his next family.

As a six year old Dude competed BS for seven months gaining all his double clears in british novice, discovery and newcomers . He can pop around a foxhunter and trains over 120/130 at home.

Overall Dude is a talented and experienced competition pony who would suit a knowledgeable family home and a talented young jockey looking for an established pony to take them to the next level.

He could also continue to excel at Badminton Grassroots and would happily take a small adult around - or a 5ft 11 child as he did this year!

Serious enquiries only by telephone please. Many videos and references available. In return, references will be requested from prospective new homes.

We are in Kent. Tel: 07908 548003.

  • Rare combination of very safe and competitive
  • Genuine, honest, fit and beautifully mannered
  • Proven at BS and BE championship level with a child rider at 70–100cm

Misty is a truly exceptional Connemara pony – a talented, kind, and reliable all-rounder with an impressive competition record and a heart of gold.

We have owned her since October 2024, and she has been nothing short of phenomenal. She is adored by everyone who meets her and has proven herself to be an exceptionally safe yet talented pony.

She is:
- Easy and enjoyable to hack, school and compete
- Always willing, very trustworthy and forgiving – she truly looks after her rider
- Perfect for a young rider wanting to progress while staying safe
- Regularly training with British Eventing 3* GB Team coach.

In 2025, the first year competing with our 11-year-old daughter, Misty exceeded all expectations successfully finishing the year with a feature article in the 2025 Winter Edition of British Eventing Magazine.

- In 2025 consistently placed 1-3 in showjumping & arena eventing and Top 6-10 in BE eventing classes, with most recently SIX consecutive Double Clears at 80/90cm.
Competed in the 2025 NSEA Eventers Challenge Championships (70/80cm), 2025 British Showjumping National Academy Championships (Midi 90cm), 2026 British Eventing Arena Eventing Championships (AE80) and Qualified for 2027 British Eventing Badminton Grassroots Regional Qualifier (BE90).

Temperament and Care

Misty is a pleasure in every way:

- Loads and travels beautifully in trailer or horsebox
- Excellent in the stable and easy to manage
- Regularly shod and maintained with physiotherapy/thermal imaging
- Fully up to date with vaccinations, worming, shoeing and dental care
- Registered with the British Connemara Pony Society and UK Equine Register

Reason for Sale

This is a very sad sale as our daughter has now outgrown her. Misty has given us so many incredible memories, but we have recently purchased a new horse to allow our daughter to step up to BE Novice / Intermediate level.

The Perfect Next Home

Misty is still young, healthy, and full of go/potential and we only want her to go to a good home. She would be ideal for:

- A young rider wanting a safe, confidence-giving pony
- A competitive home aiming for success in showjumping or eventing at 70-100cm
- Someone looking for a fun, reliable partner to enjoy and progress with

Viewing

- Available to view at her yard near Tweseldown, Hampshire by appointment only
- Outdoor arena available for viewings
- High quality tack/rugs/saddle pads etc available for sale separately
